We trust you had a terrific Thanksgiving holiday with your families. Those of you outside of the U.S. you really ought to consider joining in. It’s a perfect excuse to overeat, watch American Football and spend much needed time with those you love.
This week we bring you more information on our Jetbuilt User Summit in March. But let’s talk about some new Jetbuilt features first!
🚚 TRIP CALCULATOR ✈️
We are thrilled to announce our new Trip Calculator! Enterprise users can now calculate trips of local or distant travel for their projects. Create various types of expenses, each with their own criteria and Jetbuilt will do the rest.
1 – CREATE YOUR TRIP TYPES
In Company Settings create a new Factor.
Select “Trip Calculator” from the Factor Methods.
Create expenses. You can scale these per crew member if you like.
You can set the expense to calculate Per Trip or Per Day of Trip.
You will be able to override these default values within your projects.
2 – ADD TRIPS TO YOUR PROJECT
In your Project, add a new Factor, and select from one of your created Trip types.
You can add multiple trips of a single type.
The Crew Size selector on Project Overview page is used in these calculations.
You can now override the default values based on the unique location of the project.
Your trips will now appear in your Project Overview. You can view them along with any other Factors.
“COPY TO PROJECT” PROJECT FILTER
Many of you have requested a way to filter down your large list of open projects when using the “Copy to Project” function. You can now type into the box Project Name, Client Name, or Project # to filter this list down to just what you are looking for.
PROPOSAL RENDER INFORMATION
When viewing a proposal within a project, you can now see the date and time it was rendered, the person who rendered it and the report group that was used.
This information is available for reports rendered after November 19
PURCHASING AREA FILTERS
We have added some long-awaited filters in Purchasing! You can now filter by Purchasing Status.
You can quickly see all items Not Ordered, Ready to Order, Ordered, Received, In Stock as well as any combination of Phase and Purchasing Source.

JETBUILT USER SUMMIT 2020
We will be gathering at the Marriot DFW Airport South March 26 and 27, 2020. After all of your feedback, we feel this is in the best venue for location, price, comfort, and space.
Those of you who have already expressed interest in attending will be hearing from us in the next day or two with an early registration opportunity. We will then open up registration for all Jetbuilt Users.
