Today we take a deep breath after two weeks of AV trade shows (where we met many of you face to face). Last week we were at CEDIA in Dallas, and had a terrific time showing our software, and hearing some great ideas from you about how we can speed up your work.
Here are this week’s feature updates:
1 – IMPROVED PAGE MARGINS IN PROPOSALS
Last week we updated how we handle page margins in our PDF generator. Since many of our marketing pages require zero margins to achieve the modern edge to edge look, this is in conflict to the line item pages which require solid margins.
These margins are now handled with far greater control. Your line items should break at more natural places on a page, and not be cut of by even the most old-school paper printer 🙂
2- “CONFIDENTIAL PROPOSAL” TEXT EDITABLE
Now you can change the “Confidential Proposal” text on the top of your line item pages. This is a simple feature, but one that a few of you have requested.
3- NEW REPORT PAGE “DISCUSSION” LAUNCHES TOMORROW
Tomorrow we launch our “Discussion” page into the available report page types. This will allow you to write a large body of text, such as a findings report, a whole-project scope, a blue skies proposal and more. Any time you would want to include a page (or multiple pages) of written text into a proposal, you will be able to do it here.
You will write the text inside each project, then the Discussion page will insert that text into your proposal when you render your PDF. We will send a tutorial video on it’s simple use in the next few days.
