Jetbuilt’s 5th Annual Global User Summit in Boston Delivers Opportunities for Collaboration and Innovation

Jetbuilt summit

Newport Beach, Calif. — Jetbuilt, a leading provider of AV project sales and management software, successfully hosted its 5th Annual Global User Summit from October 24-25, 2024, at the historic Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, Mass. This year’s summit was Jetbuilt’s most engaging and dynamic yet, packed with invaluable insights, hands-on learning sessions, and unique networking opportunities with industry peers.

The event has become a pivotal gathering for Jetbuilt users, uniting consultants, integrators, manufacturers, vendors, and end-users for a shared experience of innovation and relationship-building. A major highlight was the expanded vendor exhibition, where integrators connected directly with vendors such as Rullo and Lightware, uncovering solutions to elevate their projects.

Real-World Connections and Collaborative Insights

Eric Lizotte, VP of Systems Integration at STRAY, emphasized Jetbuilt’s commitment to user feedback, stating, “We have the right partner in Jetbuilt. This is a platform we can build on and build with as we grow and as Jetbuilt grows. Most valuable was seeing how the feedback loop takes place… Paul and the rest of the staff listen well, and it shows!” This commitment to listening and adapting the platform based on user input has helped Jetbuilt establish itself as a trusted partner for companies like STRAY.

Parker Gann, P-System Engineer at Messenger AVL, said he valued “the ability to influence and discuss the development roadmap,” adding, “But interacting with other Jetbuilt customers is actually a major draw as well.” The networking experience allows Jetbuilt users to exchange practical solutions and approaches, broadening the scope of what’s possible within Jetbuilt and the AV space.

A Chance to Shape the Future of Jetbuilt

For David Julian, Resourcing Manager at STRAY, the highlight was the direct access to Jetbuilt’s development team, which allows users to contribute to shaping Jetbuilt’s future. “I found the most valuable part of Summit to be direct access to the developers who are helping to create this tool for us. Jetbuilt propels us in our work, and to be able to speak with and be heard by the men and women invested in making it a good product is rare and welcomed,” Julian shared.

Herb Suereth, Integration Sales at STRAY, echoed the value of close interactions with Jetbuilt’s leadership. “I was impressed with the amount of conversation we were able to have with the Jetbuilt team,” said Suereth. “Knowing that we were interacting with the primary decision-makers provided both valuable insight into intent as well as exhibited the willingness to adapt the product to the client’s needs.” Inspired by insights gained at the summit, Suereth plans to integrate new practices into his daily routine to streamline operations further. “Understanding intention and others’ solutions was helpful to see where I could improve,” he added.

The summit also provided an unexpected benefit for Suereth: access to Jetbuilt’s vendor partners. “I was grateful for the conversations with some of the vendors. It’s always helpful to be introduced to new vendors and/or products. I was also appreciative of the access we had with the Jetbuilt team. That was unexpected, but meant a lot.”

Reinforcing Jetbuilt’s Commitment to Excellence

The value of Jetbuilt’s commitment to continuous development and user satisfaction was a key takeaway for attendees like Dominic Rozendaal, Head of Design, Americas, Global Services at Kinly. “This event reinforced my understanding of Jetbuilt’s commitment to development and its users. I really appreciate your great team,” said Rozendaal, underscoring Jetbuilt’s focus on putting users first and consistently innovating to meet their evolving needs.

From the perspective of Jetbuilt’s own team, the summit was an invaluable opportunity for connection and growth. Alice Mollo-Christensen, User Experience at Jetbuilt, shared, “I loved connecting with our users and feel like the summit creates a space to develop a deeper understanding of what they need. This level of collaboration is unique, and it was awesome to see everyone sharing their feedback and tips.”

With hands-on sessions covering workflows, processes, and the announcement of new platform features, including an anticipated global purchasing rollout, the summit offered attendees both practical and strategic insights. Jetbuilt’s combination of energy, engagement, and user-centered innovation has set a new standard in the AV industry. The company looks forward to elevating the summit even further next year as it continues driving collaboration and growth across the industry.
